Mind Odyssey 05:33
The liar and his judgement prayer To heaven his words will remain Forever and through night and day I will be there, I will be there Inner enemy, no serenity Boldly ignorance, so-called innocence Just a minor scrape, previous escape Forgivable mistakes, close relation breaks I've been away for too long Chains that held me all along It was a wearing road to Reach a place that they call home (a place you belong) And after all Nothing is left I can hold on And as my wounds are healing All the threats I knew are gone (becoming strong) Relentless attempts A journey to end A young boy is grown Guided by love and by peace, by understanding Acting according to reason, for sure demanding A pleasant mind and persistence, is what got me this far Our decisions they make us what we are I've been away for too long Chains that held me all along It was a wearing road to Reach a place that they call home (a place you belong) And after all Nothing is left I can hold on It was a wearing road to Reach a place that they call home And as my wounds are healing All the threats I knew are gone (becoming strong) Relentless attempts A journey to end A young boy is grown

The Burden 05:19
Silent sentence Shattered senses Far from what's left in my mind The spark of light that defines A memory once forgotten Guiding me weak and broken Letting go of all the things I know And who I think I’ve been Is everything you taught me at the edge of who you’ve seen To see your world within my mind Is all you had to claim Making me a better man with the love that has remained The deepest love existing, for a second once denied Will disappear, we all must say goodbye A ghostly young child in the wild to weather the night Is selling the weariness of life Who knows the burden? Tear blind eyes, quiet cries in fear surprised That memory full of sorrow Casts clouds and hides love true Let go of all the shadows To end my sadness when I see you Letting go of all the things I know And who I think I’ve been Is everything you taught me at the edge of who you’ve seen To see your world within my mind Is all you had to claim Making me a better man with the love that has remained The deepest love existing, for a second once denied Will disappear, we all must say goodbye A ghostly young child in the wild to weather the night Is selling the weariness of life Who knows the burden? Tear blind eyes, quiet cries in fear surprised - (Repeat) -

Fire Away 03:56
Blood thick as oil dripping down the soil Poor souls fighting on unoccupied shores A filthy word spoken and hordes obey The light in newborns washed away And nobody cares when they see the scars Turn it all over and it’s them who stare from behind the bars Fire away, fire away Show us the men condemned Will you ever make amends Fire away Show us where it all began Do you know where it all will end Fire away Irons cold as ice clashing through the night It always starts with a minor stroke The sheep asleep in pleasant sheds A dead winter when the lion awakes And nobody cares when they see the scars Turn it all over and it’s us who stare from behind the bars Fire away, fire away Show us the men condemned Will you ever make amends Fire away Show us where it all began Do you know where it all will end Fire away Your history obscure Your lying allures Your failure denied Your moral expired The evil that arose from us The greed, the craving, the lust We put everything at stake Avert our eyes from what we create And so we’ll have our fate Fire away, fire away Show us the men condemned Will you ever make amends Fire away Show us where it all began Do you know where it all will end Fire away

Nightfall 05:30
Nightfall Warm light from the window Looking back at you With words too proud to say Another heart fading away Close call A second chance is given With nothing to regret Those dreams begin again My love for you remains Riding a wave we have our doubts and worries It feels like sink or swim With every change we think we're closer But deep within our hearts Somehow we're drifting far apart Morning A red sky slowly rising We can't look away Hand in hand we blindly go Where we have been before Free fall A promise once it's given All our smiles wane Telling us to stay And then we change it anyway Riding a wave we have our doubts and worries It feels like sink or swim With every change we think we're closer But deep within our hearts Somehow we're drifting far apart All the while You quietly strayed Signs you sowed hidden Time passes, gone now Nowhere I'll find A safe place to hide Someday I'll find Shadows in your eyes Riding a wave we have our doubts and worries It feels like sink or swim With every change we think we're closer But deep within our hearts Somehow we're drifting far apart
6.
I remember something that's lost A fraction of your soul Deep down in the darkest eyes Now here we are Stranded on the shores of sand and time But how did it come so far Our bags were packed with hope To sail to newer worlds A past outgrown by old And empty promises As we were standing still You begged me not to leave A wish I never could fulfill I moved out with the breeze All that I ever knew Lies finally behind All the choices, some day Will bring me back to you As days were going by No danger to expect But suddenly the deepest blue Would shake the rotten deck Now in the knowledge that The chilling ice is near But after all I realized My life won't end in fear All that I ever knew Lies finally behind All the choices Won't bring me back to you One last song before I sleep One last breath before I leave Bury this treasure in your heart Then we'll never be apart And one day we'll meet again One day I'll see you again Don't despair Don't deny Sail away Into the sky All our dreams Hold them tight For one last breath And release them into the light

Dawn Pt. 1 08:12
Darkness surrounds me wet to the bone An unfamiliar solitude wearing me down Ideas of tomorrow add to the weight Of duties to be fulfilled before it's too late Angelic voices strengthen the impulse That leads me all through the night To the end of an impasse Until the way back is blocked and my need is out of sight Far from what's left in my mind The spark of light that defines As you're walking down the stairs So beautiful in white No one dares to take a breath So you spread your wings and fly Blinded by the light A state of complete confusion Overcome by fright Is my life just a delusion Day after day black clouds hid the sun For years I was frozen, so much left undone At that lucky moment there is no need to flee Your lovely sight is what makes me feel free My memory once forgotten Guiding me weak and broken As you're walking down the stairs With eyes of deepest blue No one dares to say a word But I'm prepared to go with you
8.
Dawn Pt. 2 03:03
Complete reincarnation, an altered state of mind Like an invitation to a brave new world Standing on that height The promised land is in sight And I do proclaim: May the elements unite! Far from isolation, direction is outlined A worthwhile destination on the road of life Standing on that height The promised land is in sight The fog lifted and thunder fades out The wetness, the water, the strenght of the earth, The breathable air, the fire and light And I do proclaim: May the elements unite! Without limitation, I'm reaching for the stars Agitation, I see the missing stairs Standing just right before the abyss It seems something went wrong Elements won't unite
9.
Our Kingdom 06:43
Quiet steps slowly approaching Warm hands reaching out for me To take me for a walk through the ruins of my life I leave it all behind, fetters to unbind I brought the spark and you brought the flame I showed you my sins and you made me change Words that I said and the things you received Expose who I am and who I'll become after you're gone You're the scorching fire in my heart That makes me burning through the dark You're the sparkling water on my skin That clears my mind and keeps me sane Will I see you stay, forever and a day Stone by stone and heartbeat by heartbeat We build this kingdom of our own The draft is in our hands, no foes left to defeat Stone by stone and heartbeat by heartbeat We build this kingdom of our own Hand in hand, together we'll ascend the throne I brought the spark and you brought the flame I showed you my sins and you made me change Words that I said and the things you received Expose who I am and who I'll become after you're gone You're the scorching fire in my heart That makes me burning through the dark You're the sparkling water on my skin That clears my mind and keeps me sane Will I see you stay, forever and a day Cause I'll walk by your side, forever and a night
10.
Elements 04:27
Your fire burned down all the walls around me It left me burned out, shelterless for everyone to see The water in your eyes outshines all the rising stars The blur that is hiding the beating of our hearts All the lies, all the missteps, All the times I did not listen When your wounds called for healing When you tried to explain what you’re feeling Each of those moments savoured Preciously, a sweet yet painful flavor The fundamentum of our charm The elements of who we are I ride with the winds, flying in the face of reason As earth breaks into fragments, leaving me with my demon All my lies, all your distress, All the times I showed no interest When your wounds called for healing I could not understand what you were seeing Each of those moments savoured Preciously, a sweet yet painful flavor The fundamentum of our charm The elements of who we are They made us architects of our sentiments We laughed in the presence of the elements To prove that love, That trust always wins But the story ends, yeah it always ends Where it begins

about

Elements is the latest release of the German prog-metal band Thoughts Factory. The 10 songs take the listener on a musical journey through the elements of humankind's coexistence and the obstacles of affection. These are represented by the emotional stages of a growing young man, who has to deal with life and death, love and
hate, hope and depression. It's a plea for more sustainability relating to the political and ecological challenges we'll be facing in
the near future.
